Fall in the Blue Hills Photos
Saturday, October 20th, 2007
Headed over to Brookwood Farm with their row of sugar maples as well as the gate area outside of the trails leading to Ponkapoag Pond for this group of photos. Been struggling with landscape photography, namely how to get all the little details to look good. Well, I found a way to get over it by getting rid of detail, hehe. Thanks to a fellow Stinkyteapot photographer, I discovered Orton Imagery. Consists of layering a Gaussian blurred copy of an image above the original, resulting in an interesting color/contrast enhanced in/out focused image. Onto the gallery!

Took nine photos of locally grown squash. I think they look rather good together, still working on post-processing ideas. More photos are available in the Fall in New England Gallery.
